In 2012, my colleague Kaionara de Castilhos and I worked on revitalizing the Nereu Ramos Memorial in Lages, Brazil. Our goal was to transform the space into an immersive experience that honors the legacy of the only Santa Catarina native to ever serve as President of Brazil.

Designed in AutoCAD and 3D, the project featured a visual timeline illustrating Ramos' journey—from journalist and law professor to governor, vice president, and, for a brief but pivotal period, President of the Republic. Established in 1992, the memorial houses a collection of over 2,700 photographs, medals, historical newspapers, and artifacts, sourced from the Museum.

Through thoughtful design, we aimed to create a dynamic and engaging space where visitors could connect with history and appreciate the impact of Nereu Ramos on Brazilian politics.
